For years, the Florida-Florida State University football game has been a staple of Thanksgiving weekend. The two rivals have battled every year since the rivalry started in the late 1950s, but they will not play this year. The Southeastern Conference decided its teams would play a 10-game conference schedule in this coronavirus pandemic year. This came even after the Atlantic Coast Conference left open the possibility for rivalry games to be staged by allowing each team to retain one non-conference game. So, instead of Florida-FSU and all that game brings, we'll have Kentucky at Florida and Virginia at Florida State on Saturday.
