With the opening of school just weeks away, the Palm Beach County School Board was expected to appoint new leadership at seven of its campuses when it convened Wednesday. Taken with previously approved shuffles, what promises to be the district's first fully in-person school year since the fall of 2018 will begin with new principals at the helm of at least 14 schools. The top jobs at three additional schools await filling, and, depending on who gets tapped, more vacancies could be created. The number of principal changes at the beginning of an academic year typically runs into the teens in Palm Beach County's public schools, home to more than 180 campuses.
