Gold Logie winner John Wood chats about his life growing up in working-class Melbourne, his decision to pursue acting despite meeting many obstacles. With a move to Sydney to attend the prestigious dramatic arts school, NIDA, it was the start of a decades-long acting career, most famously on shows such as Rafferty's Rules and Blue Heelers. All of these stories lead John to publishing his autobiography, How I Clawed My Way to the Middle.
