A majority of Australians now say the date should not be changed, with 60.5% (up 2% from 2024) in favour of keeping January 26, compared with 39.5% (down 2%) who believe it should be moved, according to a special Roy Morgan SMS Poll of 1,311 Australians aged 18 and over nationwide.
