With petrol pushing $3 a litre, fuel theft is surging across Australia—from suburban streets to highway rest stops, where even trucks are being siphoned as drivers sleep.

Police are also seeing a spike in petrol station drive-offs, with some calling for prepaid bowsers nationwide.

Mike speaks with security expert Gina Field, founder of Nepean Regional Security, who says fuel theft is no longer just a problem for farms and transport sites - everyday Aussies are now targets. 

Gina shares simple ways to stay protected, including installing old-school anti-siphoning devices to stop thieves in their tracks.
