His debut album, “Warrangu: River Story”, was a record about the Murray Darling Basin and the degradation humanity has caused it over the years. That album was of course our album of the week back in 2024. His most recent album, Marshmallow, is another hefty concept album, this time taking on a journey back in time through is younger years.

For 10 years, Grace Stevenson has been making music under the name Rebel Yell fusing dark industrial techno with her pop and melodic sensibilities. There aren’t many artists who seem to find the perfect middle ground between the two contrasting styles of music as seamlessly as Rebel Yell. Just last week, she released the EP Miss Worldwide. It’s funny, it's anthemic, it’s heavy, it’s just another gem in her incredible catalogue.
