Soft Stir's latest release, Stories of Collision, is more of Soft Stir's unique blend of art, music, culture, and philosophy through the lens of colliding objects and ideas. Chloe Hayman helps shepherd those ideas as the magazine's editor, platforming emerging creatives, designers, and writers.

Joining us today is London-based alternative pop artist Mr Beale! On her newest track, Skin, Beale anthropomorphises herself into Ordovician prey. Cold and doomed, you swim toward warmer waters. Harnessing themes of evolution and body horror, she drowns you in her underwater world. She’s also a multimedia artist and vocalist in British Jazz band, Palafico Honey. Joining us all the way from the UK, she’s here today to chat new music, growing up, and navigating queerness.

For 10 years, Grace Stevenson has been making music under the name Rebel Yell fusing dark industrial techno with her pop and melodic sensibilities. There aren’t many artists who seem to find the perfect middle ground between the two contrasting styles of music as seamlessly as Rebel Yell. Just last week, she released the EP Miss Worldwide. It’s funny, it's anthemic, it’s heavy, it’s just another gem in her incredible catalogue. I’m excited to chat about this, the upcoming shows, and so much more.
