Out Loud began in the fall of 2005 with ten singers in First Congregational Church in Colorado Springs. The ten had gathered together to sing simply just for fun, but little did they know that they were the start of something that would become a safe haven for LGBTQIA men from around the state.

PPLD Foundation is dedicated to raising funds to support the library’s programs, services, and growth. While the Library receives public funding, these funds only cover essential operations. As a 501 (c) (3), the Foundation can accept donations and grants that financially assist the district in creative and meaningful ways, filling any funding gaps that might exist.
