Once Upon a Book Club continues with Lanette Hansen and Charlotte Deleste from Magic 98 and Rowan Childs from the Madison Reading Project featuring the book, Teo's Tutu by Maryann Jacob Macias and illustrated by Alea Marley.

A young, biracial, gender-nonconforming boy named Téo prepares for his first ballet recital. He loves dancing at home and in class, but he must decide whether to wear a sparkly tutu or shimmering silver pants for the big performance. He worries if wearing his favorite outfit will put him too much in the spotlight.

“Written with poise and grace, Macias’s gentle story is filled with warmth from the joys of self-expression and calm assurance found in loving support.” –School Library Journal
