A childfree woman is often viewed as “unnatural” or “selfish,” and it is typically assumed that something went wrong over the course of her life that caused her to turn her back on her reproductive destiny. Many childfree women feel stigmatized, misunderstood, and alone.

We spoke to Clinical Psychologist, Charity Mkone and Jean-Marc Groenewald, who together with his wife made a decision to be child free.
