Subjects of Desire

View descriptionShare
In 1968, while white women were burning their bras in protest of the Miss America beauty contest, Black women and men were protesting the fact that no one from their community had ever been able to participate. Director Jen Holness joins On Docs to talk about "Subjects of Desire," which explores how Black women have redefined beauty.
