From Hollywood. See you, thank you for listening to us with Ryan Seacrest. Seecrest with you Sunshine and heat again today. The world is hot. It sure is. That bums me out. Why it's summer. I don't need it to be too hot? And well you want to go into global warming? That's six whatever time it is right now. You know it's Nation Major League Baseball All Star Game tonight five o'clock from Dodger Stadium. That's big deal. And then when it's hot out you get to show off your muscle. Man. You know what's interesting about that is that I don't feel that way. Yeah, Like, I don't think I've ever seen you in a tank top? So where was that? I love to see you in a tank top? Someone asked me if I were Oh, I know. I was at work and they asked are you? They said, are you gonna wear a tank top under your sweater in side? And I said no, But tank tops and I don't go together. It's just the armpit hair for you. I remember as a kid, I did wear tank tops break like airbrush tank tops break yeah good Panama City, Florida, and they just never fit me well. But like I like look I love being outside, I love being active. I love warm weather. But then there's just heat that's it's too hot. So that's gonna be the case Inland, especially as you get to a hundred and above. Kevin Hart is going to be on how does he have time? You Right, he's got all the things. I don't even know how to understand all the things. And I advocate to it a lot. But he's got a podcast, a Netflix movie, a talk show. Uh, he's got super Pets, which I saw, by the way, so cute. It's hilarious for the parents and the kids. So there's that dual hum. And I talked to him. I worked the carpet at the Grove last week, and so he is just phenomenal in this movie. See this is the stuff I don't get to hear about. So you worked the carpet at the Grove for the premier, meaning you were out there with the kiss of a microphone. I was out there for Warner Brothers, so I was like the host of the carpet basically. So they were Heart or Warner Brothers for Warner Brothers. Ah, here it goes everyone first, Tanya rat On, Yeah, you advocate doing multiple thing I absolutely advocate. I want you to feel as tired as I have for it definitely was one of those long days, you know, but so worth it. And all the cast was supposed to stop at my podium, I guess first, and then make their way down the carpet, and Kevin Hart was like one of the only two that did it because like everything, you know, when they start to get so chaotic and stuff like that, and so they were bringing them in from the wrong entrance, and so I got Kevin Hart, and I got a Vanissa Beyer. Okay, so Kevin to be here. If there's anything you want to ask Kevin you didn't get to. He's gonna be on this morning. But you know red carpets, if you go look at footage of red carpets, who are all those people? There are so many people in red carpet. I worked them. I worked the oscars, Grammy's, Emmy's what else did I do? Golden Globes? But I always was blown away by how many people are on the carpet that I don't know, like that you don't have never seen before. So do you mean like the people that are interviewing or the people that walk the group the people walking it, and then they have their person that stands there with like a sheet of paper that says this is so and so. Well. I always thought as a kid that only famous people got to walk on the red carpet. But then you see ento ride. You see just groups of people walking the red carpet. It's like their assistant, their hair, their makeup there. I think anybody could walk the carpet if you have one person that stands there with your name next to them. This is Tanya Brad, this is this me, this is so They're you're saying they hold up a car because you may not recognize that. To the press, Yes, then the press gets the name aim of said person. Okay, got it. Well, anyway, Kevin is going to be on He's starring in that movie, so exactly, he's doing that. This talk show he does, he sits in his wine cellar and interviews celebrity. Looks nice, it looks like wine. It looks like a room, it looks like an entire floor, and it's like a glass of red. I would love to interview with some wine every time. Yeah we should we got this all wrong. Yeah we should be doing mimosas here in the morning. Could you imagine? Do you see? I wouldn't be like the sweetness of it. I can't speak after having orange juice and champagne. No, but I might seal gets sit there. Yeah, and I'm not I'm with you right now, and I'm not good buzzed. And some people are great buzzed. I work with people who what who? I work with people somewhere they are fine to have a glass of something, and we should do a mimosa morning. I think it'd be so finn get'll be a train wreg. But sure, when Beck and I drink on the podcast, they're always our highest rated. But what I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. But because you probably open up more, Yeah, we're funny er. I don't really know. I don't know that I need tany to open up more. I don't think I'm pretty good. I'm fine so early already good over here? Well, look who's here? Easton is So we have Sissany, Tanya, myself, and there's usually an engineer present just in case the wheels fall off technically, because I don't quite know how to get us back online if we were to fall offline and it could happen, right, I mean things happen technology, so software, computers, this whole thing. So Easton is filling in for Tubs. Look at that, where's Tubs? He's on assignment. I know. I actually saw Easton walked by the zoom camera earlier and I thought, wow, Tubs is wearing a very colorful shirt for Tubs. It's kind of a Rugby esque shirt. But Easton is in. But I got a big email that Tubbs is on assignment. I said, what engineer goes on assignment? So I don't know who he's working for. You know, he works for other people. Yes, they plucked him once for somebody else, Yeah, the company pubs. I don't either. I felt very sensitive, probably for your TV show. No, it wasn't. It was for another person that does a show for I Heart Radio, and they took Tubs away. It's so it's Tubbs. Do you know where Tubs izz? East and you're in engineer not even I know where he is. Huh, Well they plucked him. So we get to relish in the humor and views of Easton, which are unique, which are unique, also unique. I love this, and we may ask this often, what do you do? What are you doing when you're listening to kiss FM? Because we can never assume. There are so many people in this city. Everybody's gotta be doing something. Everybody is doing something, but it may not be what you expect. Matter of fact. Based on the text, and you can use this anytime. Four one seven that comes directly into us. In the moment, I asked, what are you doing when you're listening to kiss FM in the morning? And how long are you listening? So from the and I don't know names unless you put your name in the text, but I do have your phone number, so from the one I'm driving home from the gym. This text was sent at six o nine. That commitment, Yeah, getting up early and getting it I mean, there's nothing more pleasurable then if you are someone that likes to stay regimented with your fitness, getting it done before work, if you can get out of bed and get it done before work gets such a relief. I want to do it so bad, same girl. Should we do it together? I mean we can try. I mean, it's like it sounds so easy. It's like wake up minutes earlier and get on the bike. You know, it's like anything I have done snooze. Well, so I there are two maybe two times a week I do it before work, but I only do it for thirty minutes because I can't. But even thirty minutes of days better. Well, it's just a psychological relief of it being done before. You have dorphins that get released, and then that starts your day, right, yeah, and then you fade early. Are those days that you're happier with us? Must be interesting? We should do a little study. When you're in a really good mood. It's because tell us tell us the mornings you work out before you come to work, and we came in a good mood where when I eat something I want and don't work out in the morning because I had the good food, you know. So it just depends. Also, what are you doing while you listen to kiss from in the morning, Britney says, driving to work, she's a nurse um from the nine o nine delivering hot tubs while listening. I'm sorry what that's why I didn't see coming. They just want to plug their hot hot spot. They're delivering A and J spot prose very out. Let's see six six one. Applying makeup in my car at the Beverly Hills Park, waiting to start work at the Mayborne Hotel. I've never been a makeup in the car person. You know, who is or is she not? Amy Sugarman? What does she do in the car? Like like meetings? She's like a battery powered hair dryer. She's a hair dryer in the car. She works for us in the you know, in the talent booking department, and she always would be at work blow drying her hair in the conference. Let's see from the one eight. I've been listening to the whole four hours for years. I never realized people doesn't the whole thing. Yes, and I apologize. You have to listen to four hours. You keep me company on my drive. I don't know what I do without y'all. So thank you very much for listening. Texas. What are you doing? And you can say anything because it's a text. We can obviously, you know, think about the words before we say I'm but we'd love to know anything you're doing while listening to kiss from in the morning. Now what we're gonna talk about in the morning. Hack Here is why a coffee date is not ideal for a first date. I think and see and I agree on this that a coffee date sounds cozy and charming, but the reality is breath it gets bad after coffee. You can get dry after coffee, and it does naturally stimulate me to go to the bathroom. Oh yeah, it's instant. I think you got a fifteen minute window and stuff's gonna happen. Yeah, and that's great. It's a great way to start your taking in theory, it is, but it's not great on a first date. So they are and this is not just us advocating. This is what the experts are saying. Cafe's not good for a first date because cafes are noisy and uncomfortable. I don't know that I agree with that. Some can be comfortable, and I like the aroma. I mean, like there's some good things, but there is like a business to them. Like we were coming in, especially in the morning. Um, so the people constantly coming and going are very distracting. So you're always looking up to see who's coming in and coming out. Ye, and I'm a people watching I can't help myself. Yeah, Michael Will literally stopped me in the middle. We were eating lunch the other day and I thought I saw the kid from stranger things and saying right next to us, and I like, can you stop staring? Because it was like beams. I couldn't confirm it. It's basically it's the guy that plays Mike. So if you were eating at sugar Fish on Friday afternoon, yes, Finn, Finn, were you at Sugarfish? Did you see staring at you Friday afternoon? It was me? Sorry. Also, if you the thing is you sit across from each other with the table in between, creating a barrier. So just not good. Now, the reasons we think it is not good they didn't put on the list, I know, and those are obvious. But also, sitting across from each other is not that big of a deal. You do so much better side by side, it is, Tanya. Yes, you can feel the chemistry if it's their clause. All right, listen today's quote first dage just suck anyway, today's quote that's not the quote anonymous, uh walls, keep everybody out, boundaries, teach people where the door is. You're on kissing good one. Let's go on air with Ryan seacretsm headlines. So the House is set to vote to protect same sex and interracial marriages, a direct confrontation with the Supreme Court, whose conservative majority in overturning Roe v. Wade abortion access has sparked concerns that other rights enjoyed by countless Americans maybe in jeopardy. Today's vote in the House is part political strategy setting up an election year, of course, of the role call that will force all lawmakers, Republicans and Democrats, to go on the record with their views on the high profile social issue. Netflix has thought of a new way to stop you from sharing your password. According to a statement, the streaming platform will test and add a home feature where users will be asked to pay an additional fee if they see that your account is being used away from home for two weeks or more. Their charge will be two dollars and cents. And there's talk soon that you'll be able to track who is using your account and even stop someone from having access to your account at all. And the world is going to be coming to Los Angeles for the Summer Olympic Games, and just under six years from today. Yet, Olympic gold medalists Janet Evans made the announcement that the Los Angeles Olympic Games will begin July, so mark your calendars. Air with Ryan Seacrest. Yeah, it's very interesting to hear what people are doing while listening to Kiss in the morning, what you're doing, and I'm still getting texas warning about things that you're doing. Well. Listen to Kiss four one two seven. You can text a four one two seven. Sisny was saying that she was at sugar Fish, that is her go to sushi plays and you were caught staring at Finn wolf Hard Yes, from Stranger Things. I'm like ninety percent sure it was him. It was How do you know? Just someone just texted me that he loves sugar Fish. He talked about it in a podcast, So you spotted him. Okay, I'm curious to know. So you see someone you think you know from TV and you don't say him no because I wasn't sure it was him, So what if it wasn't? That had been so embarrassing. But can't you say you look like someone famous? Is that maybe? Maybe? The other day I sat next to Ray Romano and I actually did say hi on the lot. I'm not I'm not, but I actually did say hi to Ray. I said Hello, Romano, love you. But I have to say I thought I ran into Jacob Ellerdy the other day at the supermarket and he was petting my dog Sonny. I had the perfect ind to be like, are you Jacob Ellerty? And I didn't say it because I was like, really kind of honestly taken it back when Jabler, Yes you would. He's the really hot guy from Euphoria he was dating, but not his name. What's her name? Now? I get jealous of hot guys, so I don't. I wouldn't have said anything. Envy, hockeye envy. I'm so mad that I didn't because I'm like mad an in he was literally petting my dog. Let's have that be a new middle of the year resolution for us. If we think we see somebody that we think is famous, stay hi, stay hi. I get the same way, even if I've met them before, I don't really want to say anything because I get I get shot, get shy too, and I almost I don't want to interrupt them eating, and so if anything, at the very end, I say something, But yeah, not in the middle. I've heard stories of some famous people who actually, if you asked to take a picture, they say no, well I wouldn't. Well, sorry, guys, maybe I'm looking for help with me. I got selfie to get some followers. If I see Snoop out, I'm asking for you. Sorry. I would ask for a picture from Stop because you know what, he will give one to you. He's very kind. But there are from what I hear, some that don't want to do it. I don't want to do it anyway. I'm pouring my teeth. We're into it this morning. We should get Jacob on the show. We should get Finn, we should get Snoop. We should be we gotta be. We should be doing a lot. We should have been those Stranger Things is everything right now. I am so into it. It is consuming my life. I just met Joe Kerry from Stranger Things place Steve Harrington. Oh, Steve Harrington, he is big in season three, and I was kidding him about the antique cars that are yeah, because they're not antique. I mean they're from like the eighties, but two other people they are antique. I guess you're right. I look at them as antique two, but you're right, it's all set in the eighties. They're not like the forties. Yeah, and they destroyed when was the first car on the east And you should know this. You're in for tubs. What was the first car on the roads of America? If I had a guess ninety nineteen thirty, I'm gonna say twenty six, goes our Ford endorsement. January six, Coral Benz applied for a patent for his vehicle powered by a gas engine, and I guess that's where Mercedes Benz comes from. Wow, throwback, all right, we're gonna get to the TikTok It continued to do it quickly. Yeah, this is quick basically, yeah, you know algorithm, but took a side speaking of rabbit holes, because that's what how and when you get on TikTok Um, the algorithm is about to change a little bit, given us the ability to filter out topics that we don't want to see. So unlike YouTube, we know with TikTok the algorithm is pretty much controlled by TikTok So it's based on videos that you've seen in the past, etcetera. So you really can't control what you see. It's just like the next one that pops up, the next one that pops up. But now you could filter out specific words and hashtag. So if you don't want to see animal videos, which I don't know why you wouldn't, But if you don't want to see gardening videos or things like that, you can basically put those words and then now you will not see I like, yeah, I think it's good. And they're doing a rating system so kids don't see inappropriate things as well. Yeah, well that's good news. But you who wouldn't want to see animals in gardening, Well, you posted the funniest TikTok the other day and I loved it so much. I feel like that should be your new like, um, your new direction on TikTok? Which was it? You were just like making fun of yourself. It was like some sound that said, you know, shout out to all the people on TikTok who uh the window. Yeah, but you're like they were talking about how like older people on TikTok who are born in the nineties, and you were like, yeah, that was a good way it was. So I was laughing out lad for you. So you should know. Tonight's Major League Baseball All Star Game, presented by MasterCard at Dodger Stadium is on and you can listen to it on a M five, s l A Sports or the free I Heart Radio app. But I've got tickets for you to go in just a few minutes. So if you want to go tonight to the Major League Baseball All Star Game five o'clock, if you can break away those tickets around the way, it's time for a second date. Update. This is when you have met someone, you go out, you think it's gone perfectly, and for some reason you're not hearing back from them, and it's making you nuts. You want to know. You just want the peace of mind. Maybe you don't even want to get back together with them, You just want to know. So Genesis in silver Lake says, So, guys, I met this guy through a friend at work. I usually don't like to do set ups because it rarely it works out, But for some reason I made an exception. She said. We made plans not only for a second day, but also for future dates past that. The problem is things cooled considerably when we weren't together. Was I too excited? Is it possible that he went through the motions for an entire full day date? I need help, So Genesis, thank you for coming on in silver Lake. So you think that he may have just sort of been appeasing you by talking about going out again, and he just wasn't into for the entire day date. Well, I mean, I don't know, I just I think that, like we were having such a good time, but I'm curious, like I don't understand. I just haven't heard from him very much since then, and so maybe it was just stuff that he was saying to me. You know, that's my worry. I guess. So he was being polite, but not really because he wasn't telling you the truth in the long run. Well, I mean I can tell you like a little more. I mean, we went out for brunch and we were it was like a Saturday morning. We went for brunch at all day, Baby and Soil were like and it was really nice. We were having a really good time. And the only reason we left is because we felt like it was rude that we were sitting there for so long. So we were there for a long time. And then we continued like the date. We we went for a long walk up sunset and we stopped at them thrifts doors and stuff, and it just kept going on and on. We had the whole day free and we just kept spending it together, you know, we and we laughed a lot. It was like really amazing and we actually even I mean, the thing is, we just we started to make plans for the future, not like a date like, look on Thursday, let's go here something, but we talked about all these different things we were gonna do. You know. We were like, let's go to Manhattan Beach and have lunch, or go hiking, or we should go see some stand up or something like that. And he seemed to agree and be excited about doing all of those things. But we romantic. I just can't imagine someone going through the motions to a flea market to a walk after the bride's like, if you weren't vibing after brunch, you eject, yeah, abrupt word but sure you get out, bounce leave well ejection with you, deject with finesse. All right, Genesis, we are going to try and get to the bottom. I'm fascinated by your day date, which it's kind of a great day. A date like that, right, you start with a kiche and you end up at a flea market after a walk, planning to go to Manhattan Beach. What's wrong with that? Easton? Nothing at all? Perfect day. It's our engineer filling in for tob So Genesis hold on one second, we'll get to it. Okay, thank you, Right, isn't that a great date? And I'm not usually a day date advocate. At the first day, I like the eat, I like the piece of sunset vibing, and then you kind of build off of that. I prefer myself at dusk, golden hour, good life. I like a golden hour. I like exactly everything looks a little softer. So she goes out with this guy. They met through a friend at work. She doesn't normally like a setup. She did it. They do brunch, they take a walk, they flea market, they make plans to do things in the future. It's like the most perfect fairy tale first date. But then it all went cold, and so she thinks this guy was just being nice because it was through a mutual setup. So Gene Sis, we have him. He's agreed to come on the air with us. He doesn't quite understand. Yeah, he hasn't quite understand what's going on, So be very quiet on the line. You will listen in let's see what we can find out. Okay, hello, is this cold? Yeah? I was gone. Hey, col Ryan seacrests, pleasure to meet you. Thank you for coming on the air with us here kissed this morning. Hey, thanks for having me for sure, I've got sisty an Tanya with me. Um so col we're calling you about a woman you went out with named Genesis. How was that date? Yeah? Yeah, the date was fantastic. It was great. And when are you going to see Genesis again? Uh? I hope soon. I hope, Uh, I hope even this weekend. I'd love to see here this weekend. Have you guys stayed in contact? Uh? Not really. Uh, it's it's I'm not really good at correspondence, if I'm honest with you, Uh, but it's uh, it's for no other reason other than I just like to be like really in the moment, Like I just like to to stay focused in in whatever I'm doing and wherever I'm at. It's uh, it's as an equal opportunity negligence that I that I don't I don't check my phone off. And Okay, I'm gonna stop asking questions here because I like the way this is going. I'm gonna bring in call. We have her on the phone. She's listening to all of this. Genesis. It sounds like good news here. Yeah, um called. She was concerned and the reason we're brought in. She was concerned that you weren't into her, that you were just being polite during the whole day day because she has not really heard from you. Oh that is the furthest thing for the truth. But I no, I think Jennesis, I think you're great, Like you've got such good energy. I no, no, that's not at all. I I'm just genuinely bad at a responding and and and checking my phone. And I like to I like, like I said, I like to be very present. I like to live in the moment and like be focused on on the people in the places I'm in. Okay, but you know, a new person, step it up a little bit, Hey, easy, come on. I mean it really likes her. It's like, maybe check your phone, great texting, give him a break? What off? That was one of the best first dates we've ever had. On a second date update, So, Cole, would you like to do something while we're in the moment here with Genesis? I mean a hundred a hundred percent. I mean if if Jessice, if Jessie wants to I mean, yeah, what what would you like to do? I mean we talked about lots of different stuff when we were hanging out, you want to I don't know. I like, okay, all right. We talked about going to the Manhattan be no talk to Jennis, asked to her, asked her talk to Genesis. Hi Hi called hi Hi. Oh. I'm glad to hear from you a good time and I wasn't like imagining it. I just um, we should make up and though you know, I mean, are you free this weekend? Yeah? Can I just ask you something? I don't want, I don't want to, I just need to ask you something. I feel like we definitely had a really good time, Like I know that I did, and I'm glad to hear you did, but like it sounds like it's hard for you to make plans and I, I guess I just need to know if that's because there's seeing someone else and you just don't want to tell me. Is that going on? No? No, no, no, no no, no, I'm real. I'm being Yeah, of course I'm being hard. Was that real with you? Like? I am just such a bad texture. I'm so bad about checking my phone. It's it's literally nothing to do with you at all. I really like you, and I honestly do you think I can never get like a little better. Maybe I would love to see you again. I just I'm afraid it will happen again. But like you, I mean, I don't know, I would like to see you again. But um, maybe we can work on the texting. Alright, So we're gonna we're gonna drop out Cole, Genesis. You all call each other now off the air directly or text each other and make a plan for this weekend. Okay, maybe we'll call. Maybe we'll call this time, baby step at least send a text on air with Ryan Heads. All right, So out of the second date update, we were talking about compromises and some people you're dating need to be trained a little bit for certain things. This guy, Cole, was not a good text or but he was really into Genesis, so he just was not corresponding. And she thought everything cooled off, but it hadn't. And then you took offense to the word compromise. Yes, not offense, but I don't know, I think it may it may have been my therapist that told me this, but it really stuck with me because she was saying how everybody says you need to relationships or compromised, but she said that it's collaborating. It's not necessarily compromising on something that you want. You're just collaborating with somebody. I was like, Wow, I like that. It's a little bit more positive spin to it. I guess, yeah, yeah, I've never heard it put that way, but I don't disagree that that's a better connotation collaborate because compromises, like you can't settle for this. I think of it that. Yeah, when you get therapist, wow, thanks for the free therapy times. Nice. All right, listen when you have got this great trip to Vegas for our radio music festival. So when you hear Sweetest Pie before nine o'clock call, you can take it to both nights, daytime, nighttime. A gas card for the road Las Vegas for the I Heart Radio Music Festival. Kayla, good morning, how are you hi? Good morning? So this is interesting. It says here a guy tried a super cheesy pickup line on you. Yes, are they all super cheesy? All of them? A pickup line is just cheesy unless it's so cheesy it turns around and becomes charming. But what happened to you? So the pickup line that used was something's wrong with my phone? It doesn't have your phone number in it. Cut that's not cute. I think it's cheeseball is so cliche and full of It's like the cheeseball with the nuts around thinking the same thing, right, I mean the image in my head is that nut rule sharp cheeseball totally. Well's wrong with the nice cheeseball. It's so something's wrong with my phone, Oh my gosh, Like and you're holding your phone like, oh my gosh, something I can't something's wrong with it. So, Kayla, what did you do when he said that he was like a random guy that just came up to you and said that. I A, Yes, it was, and I mean it worked, but it didn't go anywhere eventually. So we were talking about this because I was watching the bat Surette opening night ceremony where they get out of the car and they've got to create the pickup line. And it's just difficult to make a pickup line. You could make an impression in ten seconds, it's just hard, and that one is not great. So what did you do? Kayla? So I did. I thought it was weird when I did give it to him, but it led to nothing. Um as expected, I guess because, like you said, it is a very cliche pickup line, but it works. I mean sometimes I think, you gotta shoot your shot, and he shot at the shot and it wor a little bit. How many times did these guys and girls do use the same pickup lines on each other over and over and see what sticks? I'm surprised that I do. I actually um somebody on a dating app once used one and it was like, uh, he goes, is that a mirror in your pocket? So I'm like looking through all my photos on the app and looking what jeans I'm wearing or what's in my pocket? And then he said, because I see myself in your jeans, that's not cute. That's disgusting and offensive and route so offensive and so rude, but like funny walks around on Earth and thinks that's going to do something for you. All Right, Kayla, thank you for calling. You have a great day. Ah, it's just again. Watching the Bachelor's try and pick up the bat serettes in five seconds was difficult. It's hard. Yeah, you gotta get creative On air with Ryan Segreat Kevin Harts, Good morning, how are you, what's going on with you? Stranger danger. How you doing I am, I'm doing great. I'm just trying to keep up with you. You know, the night before a guest comes on, get this sheet of the things that they're doing, and the list for you. Every time I talked to you, you've added a new category, not even a job, like a category. Listen if I if I didn't do that, I what feels that I'm not keeping up with you. Let's stop, let's stop acting. Is if you haven't set the bar, but you are making me feel inadequate. I mean, it's a it's a challenge you keep up. This is something that I'm and we'll talk about a couple of things, but one of the things I read about is that you're launching a vegan fast food chain in Los Angeles. Tell me about that. I love to eat like that. Um so, basically it's a plant basic as food chain, car Harthouse. Uh. What I realized was that there was a lack of options for people that are you know, are driven towards the world of playing base. And you know, if you're not in the world of playing base, you should have the option of dabbling of trying it. And I was like, you know, everybody doesn't need to be fully committed, but you should have the option to try if you wanted to. So, you know, everywhere I go, I see a Chick fil A and McDonald's, a burger King of Wendy's, and I was like, why not start a chain? When I start a plant based fast food chain that can sit in the same areas um as these other monster operations that simply give people the choice. And and that's where the idea came from. I have amazing partners um that helped me develop and bring this thing to life. And we are opening our first I believe in Westchester, uh in mid two in the August, our first will open and we're following it up with more in San fran Florida, Las Vegas, Atlanta. UM. I mean, look, this is something that we put a lot of time and imagy into so being in this business and and and possibly having success if done correctly, it could be monumental. Do you just think of your psyche? Do you thrive shifting gears every week, every day, every month. I thrive in relish and opportunity. I think that sometimes p food don't realize understand that opportunities are not only outside your door. But they're what you make of them. And you know you can do as much as you put your mind too. And the world of business is constantly evolving, and it is evolving because the entrepreneurs, because the creative thinkers. So attach to yourself to people that are in that space in an environment. It only makes you better, It only sharpens your thinking ability. More importantly, it gives you longevity. Um. And this thing that we do and entertainment and and and corporate structure. The more you do, the more solid ground that you create and has so um I'm i'm, I'm intrigued and in love. What the idea of constantly growing and constantly learning and having new reasons to wake up every day? I love it. It's inspiring. Honestly, it's in parting what's not cissity? Just saw you? Since when did you see kay? I saw him last week at the that did this like charity premiere at the Grove for super Pets? Oh yes, yes, yes, yes you did? Um me Dwayne Rock, Johnson Kiano reads uh just to name a couple, man, we uh we did like a nice little premier promo marketing event and at the Grove a lot of kids came out, a lot of families came out, and of course we were promoting DC super Pets, which comes down to Black nine. We're excited about it. Anytime you can give families a pizza material and I p to come out and be together and laugh and enjoy. UM is definitely a bonus. It also makes me look really good at my household with my own kids. Exactly now. Listen. He's also stumbled upon the perfect format for a talk show for talking to people that are well known, and that is called heart to Heart. And this takes place in his wine cellar with a glass of red wine. Yes, yes, I mean listen when you when you think about talk shows, right, I mean, look you you've done your fair share. You've been in this space for years. But you know these things are heavily produced. You know what the guests are going to talk about. You try to keep it as natural as you possibly can. But in the world of TV there is a large side of production and and security attached to it. I wanted to remove that. Heart to Heart is about not knowing where the conversation and going be about, and being confident that me is a fan as a friend. UM is gonna talk to you and engaging you in a safe space, in a safe way where you can drop your shoulders and relax and be comfortable. And that's why I call heart to heart. There is no prep. There's absolutely no prep, Ryan, like there's no phone call before. There's nothing. There's an our conversation. The edit is a very simple edit of the introduction and the outro. We do not touch the middle. So when does the wine kick in for you? Or the gaps that the prep is? The wine it kicks in like we have episodes that are airing uh this season. I mean, me and Chris Rock got pretty turned up. Uh, me and Mark Ballberg turned up. The wine kicked in, Um, Tyler Perry, Me and Tyler Perry had an amazing conversation. I could tell when the wine kicked in the Tyler Um, Kristin Stewart, Christian Stewart, the wine got in there. Kristin Stewart got a little turns up. I mean, the good thing about the wine is it relaxes you. And I believe that some of the best conversations happened over a glass of wine. And you know, those people that have drink wine are partaking the world of wine over dinner, um, lunch, whatever. You'll find that people just get more relaxed. Uh, the conversation is softer, it's easier, and that was the idea behind it. Never a dull moment, all right. Watch episodes of season two Heart to Heart Thursdays. That's on the peacock. Thank you Kevin, talk to you real soon. Body, Thanks for your time always, Thank you man, Okay bye. I mean yeah, I like to stay busy, but that honestly takes it to a whole new level that now I feel lazy. We need pep talk from Kevin every day, seriously. I mean I've never seen him and you just saw him in person, never seen him without that kind of energy, right, and he has it every time with Ryan Seacrets. I'm just walking around, Yes, I am one of two points seven are five? Am? It's like the part that sticks out of my head. I literally was walking through the store getting this whole chicken, which I you may have seen circulating around the social platforms. Anyway, I uh, I was walking to the store and I just caught myself going, yes, I am it's bad, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah, yes, I am. Are you on? Are you on? St yes I am. What was he saying, I'm the man? No, I'm not, Yes, I'm I don't even understand it, but yes I am. Anyway, So if you hear somebody walking through the store saying, yes, Siam, you know who it is. Also, why did you buy a whole chicken? Because I wanted to make I was watching the salt Acid that heat again. Well, I kind of dip back into it because I realized that the book so some mean nosrat amazing right Anyway, She's Iranian and does all these fantastic flavors and the food culture that she speaks of. But I was. I was watching that. She inspired me to go get a whole chicken, and that's where I was walking through sorts saying, as I am. All right, So Tanya, I feel like, are you ready for a training report? Yes? I am, Yes, I am. I teach you up for that. Asked me again. Okay, Tanya, are you ready for a training report? Yes? I am? Okay, what is coming up? Do you like really hot men? Okay, I'll answer that. Yes. Are you single? No? Are you? And aries? Libra are aquarius? I have good news for you. If you said yes to all those things, all right, Well, then let's do it. Okay. So Chris Evans, he's got love on the brain in a big way and he is intently looking for and I quote the one and that could be you. So the premise of this new show that he is promoting right now with Ryan Gosling is he plays an assassin obsessed with tracking down Ryan Gossling's character. So he was getting interviewed and he was asked if he's been that dedicated to any sort of search in his own, like personal life, and he said this, He said, the answer would be that maybe I'm laser focused on finding a partner, you know, someone that you want to live with. That. But this is huge, Like Chris Evans, Super avenger Man, Superhero hot Man forty one, like Prime and Ready is looking for his partner in everybody looking for some that's true some people, because he's saying he wants to like somebody wants to live with, Like he wants a like life partner. And so I kind of a little digging he Um, he's been linked to Jessica Bielle mkelly in the past, so he I mean probably likes brunettes. Um, he wants to be a dad he said publicly he wants kids. He's forty one. Like I mentioned, he was born and raised in Boston. And also so he's a Gemini. The three best matches for him are Libra's Aries and Aquarius. So if you are a Libra Aries or Aquarius or no, somebody that is maybe sliding to his damns Chris Evans. That is Captain America Chris and he he's a buzz Lightyear in the new movie light Year. You know, when someone and I've heard people say this in the most romantic settings, but it strikes me as not so romantic when people say I want to grow old with you, I don't really want to think about it, you know, like when people say I'm looking for someone to grow old with you kind of rushing it. How about someone to be present with you in the next decade with like you can get to the old part, but you're not looking to jump to the grow old. You're just looking to jump to like the grow into life. But you know what you think about, like what they're gonna look like when they're old. I don't. I don't either. I do. When I met Michael, he was like baby face, like twenty three years old, I was like, oh, he'll be so hot in your forty like, yes, old, but that was when I was That's a big jump when I was hot. Grandba casted his heat and he is so hot to me. He's like, I think I find him way hotter now than when we first started dating. I agree, he is hotter than when I first met him. Well, because he was a baby back then and now he's yeah, yeah, look giddy, and now he's a man Eastern. When do you think you'll have that stage man's crossing my he man fingers? Uh? You still play with those every day? What action periods? Do you actually have? Man apt America a full action figure room and displayed or something like our parents used to set up model train sets. I feel like you set up model universes. Well yeah, I mean I like to to create adventures for myself, you know you do on air with Ryan Seacrett earlier. We're talking about pickup lines here and so I'm getting some text here to four one or two seven Episode two of The bat Surette was last night the two bat Surettes Rachel and Gabby. Anyway, Um, this one I have heard before, but I don't know why. Maybe on a bad pickup line list from the e when eight did it hurt when you fell from Heaven? Have you heard that? That's cute? That's cute, all right, cute. Here's one that's not gonna be your favorite either. From Hey baby doll, let me lick your leg. I'm sorry say pick up line that's coming from the what just reading these um and from the nine o nine America in Vegas. He said, we only have a few hours to fall in love, so let's start now. I could see you saying that. Yeah. That's by the way, people are very candid on the texting four one or two seven, Okay, So this is fascinating to me. L A has got a robust vegan appetite, right, a lot of vegetarians, and we get great produce in California. So Massiel and Joe of Masiel's Plant Based Butcher and Delhi are on the line. Uh. They have got in Highland Park, what is known to me is the first vegan butcher shop, and they got it all. They have got plant based eggs, ham cheese, Mexican ribs, They've got pastrami, reuben sandwich. So Massiel and Joe, good morning, thanks for coming on good morning. We're very much fans of what you're doing here. So what's the stuff made of? In most cases, so well, you know, armies are made out of um legoons like beans, chickpeas, vegetables and take hands of often and a lot of spices there. You know, it's obviously, uh, you know, important to us that they've taste great. But but you know, it's also important to us that they're they're nutritious, They have good quality ingredients, and they're really high in protein. People always worried how am I going to get my protein if I don't eat meat, But but they're packed with protein. So at it's first ever vegan butcher shop. And uh, marsa l. You're a Mexican native and you worked as a nutrition researcher. I did this, I did so, I did. I was working in New York for a few a few years and a lot that all my education and or experience isn't the field of nutrition. And I spent, like I said, a lot of tears on the richard side of the field. But now I decide um, I mean sorry. A couple of years ago I decided to switch over the cooking side and combine my nutrition background with my love for plumb based cooking, I'm such a I want to try this stuff out. How is I'm always fascinated when in these times, with so many great minds in the world, how is it that you were the first? Were you surprised yourselves that no one has done this? Well? You know, so we're the first in l A, there are we We definitely want to mention we didn't come up with the concept of the plant based butcher, but of course we do have our own unique take on it, particularly with Montale's background and the Mexican influence on our menu. But there's the guys in Minneapolis called the Herbivorous Butcher. They're kind of the O. G. S Uh. I don't know if they are the first, but there's certainly one of the first. And then there's Rudy's in London. Uh, there's a very good butcher in Vancouver, and they've all been doing it for a few years now and are having a lot of success. So we certainly were inspired by them. But the nice thing about the plant based meet world is that there's a lot of creativity within it, so you can you can really, you know, kind of have your own mark on how you can make the meats, what you make them with, what kind of spices and and meets themselves, you know. So I don't know that there's a lot of we may be the first plant based butcher that is uh kind of a mix of your New York Deli meats like the strawmy salami, bakon turkey with some of the Mexican meats like the ribs and the chicheronis and the urizo. Alright, why it's all making my mouth water. So Massaille and Joe's plant based butcher and deli your ark and what's what's the street? Where are you ada? So it's very awesome. Well, thanks for coming on and keep it up. Nice to meet you. Thanks Ryan, Bad guys. Yes I am, Yes, I will, Yes, I will. I'll be walking through that that door saying yes I am vegan Mexican ribs. I kind of really excited about that. I mean all of it pastrami, like I gotta taste ruben sandwich. That's let's see who's gonna go there and get take out? Happy to all Right, Well that was settled. Thanks for thanks for offering. Everyone else on air with Ryan on the other side of the glass window of the phone room. Ruby is in here from there. So Mikaylo was telling us that our favorite part of the show was Kevin Hart. What about for you Ruby today? I think second day update was, Oh it was good. I was like, yeah, I always questioned myself, so you're not alone. But I feel the same way. All right, listen, you were inspired to go out and find cool things to recommend to do here in something California on the budget, fun, fun summer adventures. So what do you find? Uh? So, I know we talked about Echo Park Swan boats, so I found out they actually do them at night. So they have these really cool like led lights, very cute for like a date night or even you know, with the girls. But it's only eleven dollars an hour, So I feel like definitely budget night. Anything with a neon light kind of makes it cool. But the water doesn't scare you at night. That kind of gives because the word there's little of I don't know. Bugs, yeah, and swim you're on the thing, I don't know, mosquitoes something I don't know now, But then you see, you know, the downtown l A skylines to at night, so that like Chef's kiss. What else? Also going to the Rose Bowl flea market which is every second Sunday of the month, so they have yeah. Um, and then Paramount drive in theater which is tickets are eleven dollars and um, it's just like very old school. You're in your own car. Also another good date night. I've never been to driving. I never been to one either. Yeah. Do you listen to the sound on the radio? You've done it? Yeah, they give you a frequency on the Actually I have done it for the Bachelor. Yeah, that's the real old move. It was like we went for the whatever was there in the pandemic. But yes, they give you a frequency that you tune into in your car. Do you sit in? David Alvarez, who works in the social media partment, said he's done it. Do you sit in your seat? Your driver's You can do both, reverse the car in if you want to beat in, like if you have like an suv or you can just and a lot of times they have like mounds where so you're like lift, you're at an angle in the car so you can see it better, but you look through your windshield. Yeah, you better come with a clean car yea to clean all right? What else? And then also kayaking, paddle boarding and Alamitos Bay which is like twelve dollars an hour or paddle boarding is six. I always like the sound of it. And then I get paddle board like board like paddle board board. Right, this is work, it's work. What else? It's a good workout. Angels Flight railway in downtown l A. So this is really cute. It's like the oldest railway in l A. It's super short, um, but it's a dollar to go up and then a dollar to come down. It's right across from Grand Central Market and it's just like a good time, very nostalgic for me. And then you're downtown so you could grab a bite, DTA l A somewhere. Um and anything that is that fast, I'm down, like it's not a big commitment. Great, So should we post these? Can we post these? Ruby can? Yeah? Of course I will put those up at Kissing m dot com on air with Ryan Seacrest. That is going to do it for us tomorrow. We'll be up bright and early to get it gone. Make sure herr sisn he's got them from enjoy having a great day guys, take hook care. We're talking to morning. Thanks for listening to On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Make sure to subscribe and we'll talk to you again tomorrow
Ruby can? Yeah?
