His story of music started in a small village in KwaZulu Natal, KwaMaphumulo where he learnt how to read and write music in his primary school days. He played woodwinds, the trumpet and baritone horns, he grew in a musical family, with his father being a music journalist and radio host with his own music show called “Umculo we’ Classic” at the local radio station.
