Oklahoma City bought the lot at 1245 Northwest Second Street on August 4th, 1910, for a fire station authorized by voters in a 1909 bond election. The city council approved construction of the fire station in March 1911 and, as you would expect, it is no longer in use. The council has decided to sell the property.
