Change is underway at the Oklahoma City Zoo as one new habitat opens and another is under construction. A new home for African painted dogs and cheetah, Predator Pass, opened Friday, allowing the zoo to have cheetahs for the first time since 2019. Across the street, the zoo's largest habitat expansion to date is in the works, centered on an African savannah where giraffe, gazelle and okapi will mingle.
