On this episode, Dave Schmidt sits down with Corporal Gary Cline of the Brunswick Police Department for a conversation about his long career in law enforcement, family, and how much the profession has changed over the years.

Gary reflects on a career that began with the Washington County Sheriff's Office before eventually bringing him to the Brunswick Police Department. He shares some of the lessons he's learned throughout his years behind the badge and what has kept him committed to serving his community.

Away from work, Gary says his biggest passion is spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoors, giving him an opportunity to recharge from the demands of law enforcement.

He also offers a candid perspective on the future of policing. While Gary says it would be an honor to see his son follow in his footsteps as a police officer, he admits the profession has changed so much during his career that he's actually encouraged his son to consider a different path — becoming a firefighter.

It's an insightful conversation about a lifetime of service, family, the changing world of law enforcement, and the perspective that comes from years of experience behind the badge.
