Third nomination: Donald Trump accepted his third GOP nomination for president at the Republican National Convention on Thursday night. The former president’s acceptance speech was his first public address since an attempt to assassinate him at a rally in Pennsylvania last week.
Lengthy speech: In his speech, the longest convention acceptance address in recent US history, Trump called for unity as he recounted details from the attempt on his life. He then outlined key campaign promises on the economy and the border.
Democrat disarray: Elsewhere, as President Joe Biden remains in Delaware after testing positive for Covid-19, he is growing increasingly isolated from many in his Democratic Party as he faces mounting questions about whether he should continue his reelection campaign.
THE BOULDER IS ROLLING': @BretBaier details what's going on behind the scenes as Biden faces growing calls to drop out of the presidential race, and if the president could exit "sooner rather than later."
