• In Maine, a proposed $1B patriotic park will feature a 1,776-foot tall flagpole.

• Plans were announced in March for a billion-dollar park in Columbia Falls, Maine that will feature the world's tallest flagpole to honor all American veterans. 
• The park will fly the world's largest flag, bigger than a football field, from the world's tallest flagpole, which will stand taller than the Empire State Building.
  It also will feature remembrance walls honoring 24 million U.S. veterans.
