Ballisodare United suffered a 2-0 loss agaisnt Ballaghaderreen FC in the women's Connacht shield final. 

Half time saw both teams go into the dressing room yet to score. However within seven minutes Ballaghadarreen made it 1-0 and twenty minutes later doubled their lead to mkae it 2-0.
