It’s claimed some young people locally are matching their electronic cigarette devices to their outfits for social occasions, including the Debs.

The trend has been described as concerning and has been highlighted during a debate on the Vaping Bill.

The Government has approved the Bill, which aims to further regulate e-cigarettes and nicotine products, particularly to protect children.

Speaking in the Dail, Sligo Leitrim Sinn Fein TD Martin Kenny says it’s clear tighter regulations on the marketing of nicotine products:
