The young man who died following a crash in North Donegal at the weekend has been named locally. 

Ashlea (Ash) Harkin, from Derry, who was in his 20s died in hospital following the single vehicle collision in Inishowen on Saturday night. 

Gardai and emergency services attended the scene and Mr Harkin, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, was taken to hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead on Sunday morning.

It follows the deaths of Caoilan Bushe and Leon Shovlin in a two vehicle collision on the N15 in south Donegal on Saturday afternoon.

Investigations into both crashes are ongoing.
