Irish citizens being held by Israel are being deported to Turkey, according to the Foreign Affairs Minister.

Helen McEntee says the 14 citizens, including Sligo GP and sister of President Catherine Connolly, Margaret Connolly will be flown to Istanbul where they'll be met by officials.

They were arrested as part of the Global Sumud Flotilla which was boarded by the Israeli military earlier in the week.
