The North West of the country is expected to enjoy warm temperatures again today.

 

Many parts of the local region experienced some summer weather yesterday and the good news from Met Eireann is that today is likely to be the hottest day of the year so far.

 

The mercury's expected to climb to 27 degrees today and tomorrow.

 

 

Met Eireann forecaster, Ailish Hankinson, says high pressure will keep much of the country dry and sunny over the next few days.
