Sligo Leitrim Gardai are hosting a Garda recruitment day tomorrow.

It's getting underway in the Landmark Hotel in Carrick-On-Shannon from 6-9pm.

People will have the opportunity to speak to local Gardai and get more information and real insight to the job. 

The main 2026 Garda Trainee recruitment campaign is currently open for applications through Public Jobs  until 3:00 PM on Wednesday June 3rd.

Local Garda Inspector Gerry Curley is encouraging anyone who has an interest to come along:
