A Sligo Councillor says the costs of motor insurance premiums must be examined as a matter of urgency with motorists paying higher fuel costs. 

 

The Law Society of Ireland says the government's new voluntary Motor Insurance Transparency Code is not transparent enough and fails to take into consideration the massive profits being made by insurance companies.

 

Ballymote Tubbercurry Councillor Barry Gallagher is highlighting how increasing insurance premiums are putting more pressure on many small to medium sized businesses.
