Concern is growing in Calry, Co. Sligo over delays in allocating an additional teacher to St. Patrick's National School.

 

With over 40 applications for Junior Infants and only 28 places available, families face uncertainty ahead of the new school year.

 

The appeals process won't begin until May, leaving parents, staff and the school community under significant pressure.

 

Speaking to Ocean FM News, Councillor Thomas Walsh says immediate action is needed to secure an extra teacher and ease growing anxiety locally.
