The Gaelscoil Chnoc na Ré construction project in Sligo been approved to move from Stage 2A to Stage 2B of the school building programme.

 

Confirmation of the move has been provided to Ocean FM news by Minister of State and Sligo Leitrim Deputy Feighan who described it as a hugely significant milestone for the school.

 

Stage 2B, which covers detailed design, obtaining planning permission, and the preparation of tender documents.

 

Once this stage is completed and approved by the Department, the project will proceed to tender for the appointment of a contractor and then on to construction.

 

Minister Feighan says it’s vital that the project moves to construction stage as soon as possible
