There's serious concern over proposed speed limit reviews in County Sligo. 

It comes as a public consultation gets underway today until September 4th on implementing special speed limits on public roads in various parts of the County. 

However its thought what's on the table might not suit every town and village. 

Fianna Fail Cllr Donal Gilroy says its imperative local communities engage with the public consultation to see what is proposed for their specific area. 

He is fearful some of the proposed measures may not work:
