It's claimed there's seething anger in the North West and beyond over certain individuals allegedly capitalising on housing asylum seekers. 

It comes as new figures show that the cost to the State of accommodating international protection applicants reached a record €1.2bn last year.

This week in the Dail, Donegal Sinn Fein TD Padraig MacLochlainn accused the Government of making millionaires out of failed Donegal business people. 

Standing by those comments, Deputy MacLochlainn says while there is now a change in direction, serious questions need to be answered:
