The Cathaoirleach of the Local Authority in Sligo among those paying tribute to the late Fr. Michael Donnelly who passed away earlier this week.

Fr.Donnelly who was originally from Rahara, in County Roscommon served for many years as priest in Sligo.

His funeral mass will take tomorrow afternoon at 2.30pm at St Colmcille's Church, Rathcormac, Sligo.

Cllr Donal Gilroy says the late Fr Donnelly has left a lasting legacy areas such as Magherow and Dromard:
