Major safety improvements are to be carried out on a dangerous stretch of road in south Donegal.

There's been a number of collisions on the Ardara road at Keelogs Castleogary, one occurring as late as last weekend.

Resurfacing works are getting underway next week where temporary Road Closures and Diversions will take place.

Local Cllr Noel Jordan says the road has been treacherous for some time and this work should make it safer:
