Retired Gardai involved in the initial investigation into death of Leitrim farmer Liam Farrell are being urged to come forward. 

It comes as Liam Farrells body was reinterred this morning after exhumed 13 days ago for a forensic post-mortem examination.

It followed an order granted by Minister for Justice Jim O'Callaghan as part of a renewed investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death, Gardai are not releasing the results of the post mortem.

Speaking to John Lynch his son Peter has made a further appeal to anyone with information:
