Residents in the North West are said to be fearful over an expected rise in energy bills. 

It comes as the Government is considering bringing back energy credits.

Tánaiste and Finance Minister Simon Harris says it would be "foolish" to rule out including the support in Budget 2027.

It's not clear if the credits - if confirmed - would be universal or targeted at low-income households.
