There's renewed concern over Sligo's retail landscape following news of another closure. 

EJ's Little Sister located on Grattan Street is set to shut its doors as the building it's currently operating from is being sold. 

Management say that they had no choice and that its goodbye for now but to watch this space.

It is however the latest in a string of closures in the town in recent months, with the likes of Monsoon and Allure departing. 

Local Cllr Arthur Gibbons says a number of unfortunate factors are at play:
