Serious concern has been raised once again over the lack of lifeguards at Rosses Point tidal pool. 

Despite throngs of people using the amenity regularly, it's still not a designated bathing area and therefore lifeguards are not assigned there. 

The decision is said to lie with the Environmental Protection Agency and the process has been described as complicated.
