It's thought Sligo man Michael Fingleton and his family suffered enormous stress over the years. 

The Tubbercurry native was considered among the central figures responsible for the financial crisis of 2008.

His deah was annoucned yesterday at the age of 88.

Having previously suffered from a stroke, the former CEO of Irish Nationwide is believed to have been in poor health for some time.
