Serious questions are being asked after a large area of Bundoran was left in the dark.

Several street lights in the town centre were out for up to three weeks.

The outage happened during a series of events and festivals, with residents and tourists said to be left in a vulnerable position.

The issue has since been rectified.

Local Cllr Michael McMahon says he received around 50 calls from concerned members of the public.

He's concerned over the timeline of when the repair works were carried out:
