A public consultation on for the development of Sligo's first Community Safety Plan is underway. 

It's described as an opportunity to highlight the issues that matter most in local communities and help shape a safer County Sligo for everyone.

The survey is open until mid-September while a number of public consultation meetings are also set to take place across the county over the coming weeks. 

Chair of the Sligo Local Community Safety Partnership and Independent Cllr Marie Casserly is encouraging as many people as possible to take part:
