North West political representatives are being urged to lobby to get the catering cart on the Sligo train returned. 

Catering trolley services have been suspended on the Sligo-Dublin line since March of 2020. 

While there have been ongoing campaigns and some discussions about reinstating them, Irish Rail has not yet secured the funding needed to bring the trolley back to this specific route.

Labour Senator Nessa Cosgrove has taken to social media once again in a bid to strengthen the campaign further. 

Speaking from the Sligo train this morning, Senator Cosgrove says there's a huge appetite for the cart to return:
