A petition has been launched over serious safety concerns outside Frosses National school in south west Donegal. 

Some motorists are reportedly speeding past the rural school which in turn has led to fears for pupils who may be crossing the road. 

The Parents Association is looking for a speed sign to be installed in a bid to slow traffic down. 

Independent Cllr Jimmy Brogan says there’s huge frustration locally and efforts must be made to address the issue
