Children attending St Lasarra's Primary School in Ballinacarrow, are once again dealing with speeding vehicles going through the village as the new school year gets underway.


Earlier this week the students returned to school.
 
Ballinacarrow village is situated on the N17 and significant traffic passes through the village.

The school has made various efforts in an attempt to reduce the speed vehicles travel at, however teachers and parents fear that some students are not getting the message.

Acting school Principle Jane Harding says there is a constant fear that some of the pupils will be serious injured by a speeding vehicle:
