Inflation is still impacting the North West housing market, according to a new report.

 

Of the three North West Counties, County Leitrim has seen the biggest increase in property prices in the second quarter of 2026.

 

Prices in Leitrim were on average 4.7% higher than a year ago with Sligo seeing a rise of 2.9% and prices in Donegal rose by 2%.

 

The typical price of a four-bedroom detached house was highest in County Donegal at €391,000.
