The main phase of the NBI rollout is set to be completed in Sligo and Leitrim this month.

In Sligo, 15,000 premises are included in the rollout, supported by €59 million in Government investment. 

12,000 premises in Leitrim are included in the plan, following a Government investment of €46 million.

Minister Marian Harkin says it's good news for the North West:
