It's emerged a number of motorists have been disobeying the one way system which is currently in place at Mullaghmore. 

The measure was introduced last week following traffic chaos during the summer months. 

People are being warned to obey the signage in place over this weekend after reports of some not complying over  the last few days. 

Fianna Fail Cllr Donal Gilroy says ultimately the one way system should be introduced earlier in the year going forward to avoid a repeat of scenes witnessed in recent weeks:
