Minister of State Marian Harkin has welcomed a new €25 million Community Centre Investment Fund for 2026.

The funding will support upgrades, repairs and energy improvements in community centres across the North West.

Grants from €10,000 to €100,000 will be available, with applications opening at the end of May.

Speaking to Ocean FM News, Minister Harkin says the fund will make a real difference to rural communities across the North West.
