A Sligo based Junior Minister says there is genuine concern with issues relation to the supply and cost of fuel at present.

The Comments from Minister Marian Harkin who says as well as the public having concerns with prices being increased, there are forecourts running out of fuel due to supply shortages.

Representatives from the fuel industry will meet with the Minister for Enterprise today in relation to their price structure.

Minister Peter Burke is expected to press them on how increases have taken place so rapidly since the beginning of the conflict in Iran.

Speaking to Ocean FM News Minister Harkin says there are a number of issues at play in relation to the supply of fuel at present:
