The Health Minister has expressed confidence in the HSE West and North West management. 

It comeas as nationally, the estimated overrun at the HSE is 760 million euro for the year.

Minister Jennifer Carroll MacNeill gave the figures after two thirds of the HSE's regions, including HSE West and North West, were stripped of their spending oversight.

The Minister still has confidence in the management of those regions, but budgets have to be reined in to bring down the estimated overspend:
