It's claimed parents across Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal are frantic over issues with school transport again this year.

It's understood some of them had school transport last year and for some reason they have not received a place this year, others lost out on a place on the bus because they were not attending their closest school but the reason, they are not attending their closest school is because their closest school has no place for their child.

The Government is facing calls to provide more school transport places for children in the North West in a bid to resolve the issue.
