More than 200 former All-Ireland winners have signed a letter calling on the GAA to further examine its sponsorship deal with Allianz.


The letter will be handed in during a protest outside Croke Park today organised by the GAA Drop Allianz campaign.

 

Earlier this year local GAA personalities such as Brendan Devenney, and 1992 All Ireland winning manager Brian McEniff voiced their opposition to the sponsorship deal prior to the Donegal V Kerry Allianz Football league game in Ballyshannon.


Campaigners want concerns over Allianz's investments linked to Israel referred to the GAA's Ethics and Integrity Commission.

Brendan Devenney will attend today in Dublin. He is urging the GAA to take action:
