A Government Junior Minister has admitted there's a number of issues with the Sligo train service. 

It follows what's been described as a constructive meeting held at Sligo Train Station yesterday. 

The lack of an early morning train, no catering service, and concerns relating to the infrastructure at the train station in Sligo were all discussed.

Minister of State Frank Feighan has committed to work on these issues with the relevant bodies:
